USD 223 FBLA Students Attend National Competition

White and Martin Bring Trophies Home
Future Business Leader of America, the largest and oldest student
business organization, held their National Leadership Conference at
Marriott Marquis, June 26-29 in Atlanta, Georgia. Conference
participants from around the country and the world, were in
attendance for this amazing conference. Hanover High School's
Chantel White brought home fifth place in Electronic Portfolio and
Christopher Martin brought home seventh place in Virtual Business
Challenge. They received national recognition at the Awards of
Excellence on June 29. These awards were part of a comprehensive
competitive events program sponsored by FBLA-PBL. The winners of
these highly competitive and prestigious events were selected from
among FBLA’s membership of over 250,000 students and advisers and
represent some of the best and brightest of today’s youth. Others
national qualifiers from Hanover High FBLA were Briana Bruna, John
Bruna, Braden Hynek, Derrick Gerard and Kirk Loges. They were
accompanied by FBLA Adviser Lori Chambers. National qualifiers from
Linn High FBLA were Kelli Voelker, Ashtyn Meyer, Kellyn Peters,
& Heather Oentrich. They were accompanied by FBLA Adviser Deb
Savage.
