THANKSGIVING FEAST

Story image 3

On Tuesday, November 20, 2007, the preschool students and staff enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving Feast. Our special guests were Mrs. Beikmann, speech pathologist, and Mrs. Harris, speech paraprofessional. All the students brought items to share with their friends. Dinner was prepared and served by the preschool staff and Cathy, (Cat)our cook. Everyone enjoyed their dinner especially the pumpkin pie with cool whip.

TRICK-OR-TREATING
On October 31, the preschool children went trick-or-treating in Greenleaf. Staff painted their faces and provided bags for them. They enjoyed their walk uptown to trick-or-treat at the local stores. We would like to thank everyone we stopped in to see. They enjoyed their treats (after they went home)!

PICKET FENCE BOOKCASES
The preschool students and staff would like to thank Ben Meyer and Chad Weise and the staff and anyone else who helped make our beautiful picket fence bookcases for the classroom. We especially want to thank Mr. Joonas for his help in the project. The children were very excited when the surprise arrived.

MANY THANKS
The school has done many wonderful things last year and this year for our classroom including assembling books about colors that the preschool students take home to read with their parents. The teachers and staff have donated numerous items to help us prepare the classroom for the children. We really appreciate the posters, books, curriculum materials, and support.
