Contact Tracing amendment
John Whetzal
Tuesday, December 01, 2020

Good morning,

You can view the latest available information addressing contact tracing by clicking here.

Please note that individuals wearing an approved mask (see link) appropriately will not be quarantined should they be identified as a close contact. Conversely, individuals wearing a gator or bandana as a face covering face a significantly higher risk of being quarantined should they be identified as a close contact.

In USD 223, students, staff, and visitors are free to wear their choice of face covers. Simply, I am highlighting this protocol change by the Washington County Health Department since it has potential for being impactful to some of our families.

Thank you,

John Whetzal
