We have been recognized by commissioner Randy Watson and the Kansas Department of Education with STARs for excellence in education. It is difficult for school districts to achieve any stars but we continually receive not just any stars but Gold and Silver awards for those categories that matter most to the success of our students and graduates. USD 223 continually achieves at the very highest level of excellence in all Kansas schools!
