STEAM is working on the construction of mini cars using 4.5 V DC motors, rubber bands, or propellers. Students have their choice of a variety of materials to try and build the most energy efficient car, while also claiming the title of fastest car in the class.

We are looking for workers for our gameday events for the upcoming sports year. Today, the Linn FFA Officer Team attended Ohlde Seed's Field Day. We got to learn through sessions on their Corn, Sorghum, and Soybean Show Plots, Precision Planting, Agronomics, and Plant Fertility.
We got to wrap up the day listening to the keynote speaker, Mitch Holthus, voice of the Kansas City Chiefs, and gain some insight on how to grow as leaders in agriculture.
Linn FFA hosted a School Year Kickoff Event for all JH and HS students on August 16. There was a watermelon feed and a kick ball game. There was a great turn out and we look forward to having a great year!
