Two Kansas FFA state officers, Natalee and Mason, joined us today to conduct workshops and activities with all ag classes. Their workshops were built around identifying and building leadership skills, teamwork, communication, and identifying what a true leader looks like.
Natalee and Mason are currently both attending K-State, so they also took some time to chat with Mrs. Steinfort’s class of juniors and seniors about their experience at the university. We appreciate them taking the time to lead us today and for getting to know Hanover!
More pictures will be in the comments as well as on the Hanover FFA and Ag Education Facebook page.

Come out and support our football team tonight at 5:45!

The Hanover FBLA National Qualifiers, Jamie Bruna and Emma Kruse, along with their adviser, Julie Jueneman, would like to thank the many individuals, businesses, and USD 223 who made their trip to Nationals in Orlando possible. There are too many businesses and individuals to list by name but know that this opportunity would not have happened without each and every one of you who supported this group in any way this past year.. Those businesses and persons listed participated in a sponsorship to donate money towards this nationals trip. Thank you again

Great job Pound!

The FBLA and FFA chapters had a beautiful evening and a fantastic turnout for last night’s Back-to School BBQ! There was a huge variety of food items to choose from, and they were all delicious! Officer teams from both organizations introduced themselves and gave a short talk about joining their clubs. Students also enjoyed some competitive games of Corn-hole and Spike Ball to end the evening.

Thankfully it was a false alarm and the building has been cleared by Kansas Gas Service. The students are learning in the classrooms now. Thank you for a quick response by our local workers!

There was a slight gas odor this morning in the main building at Hanover Public Schools. As a precaution, all students are being kept out of the building until Kansas gas service gives the all clear. Thank you for your understanding.

Great first day! Here is a few pictures of the Seniors showing the Kindergarteners around the school.
