I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone, with the flu, Covid, and cold seasons upon us it is important to remember that if your child is sick please keep him/her home until symptom-free for 24 hours. Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter in order to keep the general health of our school at optimal levels.

The first basketball game for high school will be next Tuesday, December 6th at St. Xavier (Junction City). Varsity girls will start at 6:30 with Varsity boys to follow.

Mark your calendars - next Monday is HHS FBLA's Annual Mom's Night. See the attached image for more information.
HHS FBLA will have their December meeting on Friday to celebrate the holidays and discuss districts and the activities scheduled for the rest of December.

The personal finance class took part in a scavenger hunt to reinforce learning on payroll taxes, withholding taxes, and W-4 forms.
HHS FBLA held their 3rd annual Christmas event for area youth and their families on Saturday. The Polar Express Event included a reading of the popular Christmas book, train ornament crafts, coloring pages, and each child got a bell. Children also wrote letters to Santa and got their pictures taken with him. The final stop was a treat of hot cocoa and cookies. Donations were collected for the Washington County Angel Tree at the event, and thanks to everyone's support $215 was raised.

Quilting Adventure… In Art this week, each student created a paper, rough draft of an 8x8 quilt block! The blocks were to be designed and personalized! Each student will now make a fabric quilt block! Also, a couple of the classes created some Indian Corn pieces of artwork!
