Advanced Biology wants to thank Cloud County Community College for a one of a kind experience. Students were able to attend the cadaver lab tour which features a hands on opportunity for students to see and touch organs, nerves, muscles, tendons and bones to gain a greater understanding of how they all work together to make the human body function.
Juniors finish out their WWII unit for American History by making a 1940s ration cake recipe and also made propaganda posters.




We will have a JH Track Meeting to go over rules and check out sweats Monday at 3pm in the gym. All 6th-8th graders interested need to attend. Practice will begin Tuesday March 1st. If they you have not been out for another sport they will need to have their physical turned in and concussion certificate.
2/24 BOYS GAMEDAY

Day 2 of our National FFA Week Celebration featured guest speakers on careers in and related to the field of Agriculture. We had presentations from KSU Milling Science, Cloud County Ag Program, Dr. Houston DVM, and finally an electrical safety demonstration for all ages provided by the team from Bluestem Electric headed by Kevin Swenson. It was an awesome day for the FFA members and all our elementary guests from Linn and Linn Lutheran.




Filling the Gap Summer Food Program for ages 1-18. The family must be income eligible to participate. They can apply online at www.nekcap.org or in person at the Linn Parent Teacher Conferences on March 8 3:00-6:00pm.

FFA Members kicked off FFA Week with our teacher appreciation breakfast. Early morning cooking for our faculty and staff to show our thanks for their endless dedication to the students here at Linn.

JR High STEAM wrapped up their wave unit in science, and their periscope build with a school wide scavenger hunt. They built their periscopes out of recycled materials and mirrors. The periscopes had to be partially water proof and adjustable to read the various clues around school that led each team to it's final destination.



Physical Science explored the transfer of thermal energy using conduction, convection, and radiation during their Popcorn Party Lab. Advanced Biology was also busy as they practiced their anatomical directions by playing the anatomy version of Battleship, "Find My Wound".
The Bulldog POWERWASH is open for business!! If you choose the "Bulldog" wash, $3 goes to the Linn High School Senior Scholarship fund.
