STEAM spent some time constructing sustainable furniture out of recycled cardboard. The challenge was to construct a chair that was sturdy and well constructed that could hold whoever sat in it, while being as aesthetically pleasing as possible. Students spent much of their time building the support and weight distribution infrastructure of their chairs, testing what worked and what didn't. Cardboard furniture is a great way to recycle materials and reduce the cost of furniture, while producing a product that is durable, and lightweight.

Attached you will find the form to order fall sports patches if you are interested. I have also included a list of eligible patches for both football and volleyball. If you have any interest in placing an order, please have the forms turned in by next Wednesday (12/10.) You are free to order any and all patches of your choosing that your athlete was a part of. On the form, please just indicated which patches you want, I will take care of the rest. Each patch is $20 each, and need to be paid for by 12/10 when the order is placed. All checks please make out to Linn HS L Club.
Football Team: District Champs, Regional Champs, Sectional Runner-Up
Football Individual: District Teams, TVL Teams, State Teams (another order will be placed at a later date once released if there are qualifying athletes)
Volleyball Team: TVL Tourney Champs. Sub-State, State
Volleyball Individual: TVL Teams, State Teams
Any Sports in Kansas recognition is awarded through them. Thanks.

As High School Volleyball wrapped up our end-of-the-year celebration, we have many things to be thankful for this season!
Several players received individual honors, but they would be the first to recognize how their teammates contribute to the success they find as a player. Baileigh Peters, Sophia Hiltgen, Geni Turk, and Gretchen Bott should be very proud to represent their team on a league and/or state wide level. We also want to acknowledge Geni Turk and Gretchen Bott who hit a couple of milestones this year. Geni with 1000 career digs and Gretchen with 1000 career assists as well as 200 career aces.
To our player's parents - we cannot express enough what a blessing and absolute pleasure it is to work with your daughters. They are amazing players and better yet amazing human beings 💛
Lastly, we would like to show our appreciation for the school personnel, Bulldog Backers, and especially our local communities. Your support has helped become a backbone to the success our students at LHS create, whether on the field/court, stage or in the classroom.
