Congratulations to the FBLA students on winning many awards at State FBLA. The results are listed below.
Congratulations to the JH Track Team at their first meet at Washington Co. Our medalists included 6/7th Boys: Greyson Ohdle 2nd 800m, Medley Relay of Damian Martinez, Dylan Ohlde, Noah Thalmann and Greyson Ohlde 3rd: 6/7th Girls: 4x200 Relay of Gretchen Bott, Baileigh Peters, Ella Oehmke and Geni Turk 1st; 8th Boys: 400m Conner Ohlde 2nd; 8th Girls: Camryn Beikmann 1st Discus, 2nd Shot Put; Morgan Wurtz 1st Long Jump, 3rd in Triple Jump. We also had a lot of point earning 4th-6th place performances which helped our team scoring overall. I felt all the athletes competed well and had fun at their first meet of the year.
Congratulations to the Art Team on winning the TVL Art Competition today. Lindsey and Maurie were best in Show.
KSHSAA has released the schedule for the 2021 State Track Meet. 1A events will take place on Saturday, May 29th.
JH Track Announcements:
Wednesday is track pictures bring uniform. Packets are available in the office.
Thursday is meet the Bulldogs and we will have a short parent meeting after the backer meeting. If you haven’t done so please join the Linn JH Track Facebook page to get complete updates.
JH Track Practice will be done at 4:30 today so that we can set up the gym for the winter sports banquet at 6pm.

Winter sports banquet in cafeteria on Tuesday March 23 @6:00. Potluck meal before the awards are presented. Seniors bring main dish, juniors/sophomore side dish and freshmen dessert.
