Just a reminder Konza Prairie Dental will be performing dental screening this Friday. They will start around 8:45 at Linn school and then plan on being in Hanover around 11:00.
If you would like your child/ren to receive the fluoride treatments, we will need the consent forms that were sent home last week to be returned. All children who have the screening performed will get a free toothbrush. The screening takes about 30 seconds and you will get a report if any needs are identified. If you have any questions, please email me at jtegtmeier@usd223.org. I will be with them during the procedures.

8th grade students are busy with the cumulative assessment of their Motion and Energy unit. Student are working collaboratively, using their knowledge of motion and energy to build a Rube Goldberg Machine using the 6 simple machines. Students will then classify the energy transformations involved, and calculate velocity, acceleration, force, power, mechanical advantage, and energy of the moving parts of their machine as well as their total machine.
