BULLDOGS IN ACTION

TVL Volleyball

Dear Bulldog Athletic Supporters:
The Bulldogs are looking for businesses that would be interested in partnering with Linn Athletics in promoting your business. We are in the process of purchasing a 10-foot scorer’s table. The scorer’s table has a built in video screen that will allow us to display sponsorships, player profiles, and even highlights of our athletes during athletic contests. For this upcoming season, it will be $150 to sponsor, and your advertisement will be running at each home contest. All money raised will go towards helping keep equipment, uniforms, and school pride decorations up to date. We ask that if you do choose to sponsor, understand that you are sponsoring the entire athletic program, not just one athlete or team. Please contact Trevor Kuhlman at tkuhlman@usd223.org if you would like to advertise and submit your payment to Linn Athletics, 300 N Parkview St. Please email a logo in jpg format to tkuhlman@usd223.org. Thank you for your continued support of our school and students!
Sincerely,
Trevor Kuhlman
Linn Athletic Director

Congrats to Claire!

Due to unforeseen circumstances today that has lead to us not having enough players, the JH Football game that was scheduled for Monday the 18th has been cancelled.

Today was a great day for Linn FFA to host the NCD Dairy Career Development Event. A special thanks goes out to Ohlde Dairy for hosting over 310 competitors from 25 different schools. Darren Mueller, herdsman gave a tour of the parlor and set up seven classes to be evaluated and placed. The Linn members competed as well as served as group leaders and registration officials throughout the day. Members had to analyze classes, make decisions based on standard criteria, problem solve, communicate their placings and were tested over the dairy knowledge. The green hand team of Ethan Bott, Conner Ohlde, Nick Rosebaugh and Jaxon Welch placed 9th out of 25 teams. The newest division included 8th graders in exploratory agriculture which Linn was represented by 13 students. This group took 1st as a team with individual medalists Azul Saenz 1st, Ella Oehmke 3rd, Elijah Rogge 5th, Anthony Choto 6th, Makenzie Height 7th and Rylan Schaaf 10th. Also thanks goes out to Willow Dairy, Lee Holtmeier for sponsoring our meal, parent moms for serving, custodians for setups , numerous donors of panels for pens and KSU Dairy Coach Steven Quanz and their team for serving as officials. It was indeed a great day to be a bulldog.
