USD 223 Community,
We have continued into the new year the Farm to Table Food Donation Program; whereas local farmers provide meat in the form of beef or pork to the school district. This month we would like to thank Doug and Sara Beikman for their generous donation of a beef for the schools to enjoy in their lunches. This program is a tax benefit for the farmers and a chance for the schools to appreciate locally raised food. Thank you once again Doug and Sara!

Good afternoon,
Today, the KSHSAA Board of Directors voted to amend their previous decision banning all spectators from attending fall activities through December and January. Beginning Thursday, December 10, 2020 two parents or guardians per family may attend as spectators. This includes the parent(s) or guardian(s) of cheerleaders and pep band members.

March 28, 2020
Hello again! Today, I want to clarify what Governor Kelly’s “Stay-at-Home Order” that was issued earlier today means for our current operating procedure.
First of all, the governor’s executive order does not change our Continuous Learning Plan. USD 223 will continue to operate with the online classroom routine that we have in place.
However, due to the more restrictive guidelines in the “Stay-at-Home Order,” USD 223 will not serve meals Monday, March 30 or Tuesday, March 31. I will update you on the status of our meal plan after we hear from the Washington County Healthcare Advisory Council, which is meeting Tuesday, March 31.

Parents if your student Chromebook is having problem with any extensions or websites such as Zoom, Adobe Flash, Adobe Connect, etc. Please update by going to settings>about chrome os>Check for updates.

Please Fill out this survey to provide USD 223 with the information need to further proceed with the Continuous Learning Program. https://forms.gle/gTdTMf5hR2TzqWTh7
