Giving thanks has been a new theme at school this year. The district has implemented the GiveThx platform for 7-12 grades. Students meet each week with their assigned home room to learn more about gratitude science and share thank you messages to each other. In the spirit of giving thanks… Thank you to the thoughtful students and their parents that brought in bagels for the teachers! It was much appreciated. Huge thank you to the FACS class and Mrs. Stallbaumer for a delicious Thanksgiving meal for our teachers today. The meals during in-service days and parent teacher conferences were also amazing!

Ag Structures students have spent the last couple of days building squirrel feeders. Today the 6th hour Ag Structures students installed the feeders on the trees in the park so that long term care residents could watch the squirrels! Thank you Mrs. Steinfort for coordinating this project!

Just a reminder I will be starting the hearing and vision screenings next week at the schools, this is a requirement for the state of Kansas for preschoolers, kindergarteners, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 10th graders. Again if you do NOT want your child screened I will need to know by Monday the 27th

Winter Sports Pictures will be December 1st. Order forms have been handed out to your athletes. If you did not get one and would like one, there are extra in the office.

HHS FBLA would like to thank our community for all of the support we received during October for our "Fall"ing Into Service activities.

The Jr.High and 1st/2nd graders have teamed up to start "Cat Connections" each Friday. They take turns reading to each other and participating in fun crafts. Thank you Mrs. Walling and Mrs. Bruna for getting this collaboration rolling!
