Last Friday, Stuart Vitosh and Bennett Perlinger from the Farmers Cooperative came to talk to the juniors in Personal Finance. These two gentlemen covered a multitude of topics from the ownership of the coop, its history, and its coverage area to the employment opportunities available there as well as grain merchandising and marketing. The kids learned a lot and began networking and making connections that may someday assist them in their careers. Thank you so much, Stuart and Bennett, for coming into our classroom!

Dear Hanover Community, I hope you are enjoying the start of the winter season. As we dive into the winter sports season, there are a few important announcements and updates that I would like to share with you. First, I wanted to remind you all that our winter sports season has officially begun. To stay updated on game times, please visit our Facebook page or check our website regularly. It is crucial that we all maintain a positive attitude and be good representatives of Hanover when attending games. Let's cheer on our athletes with enthusiasm and positivity! This Friday, we will have a varsity boys game starting at 6:00 PM against St. Xavier (no jv). Our varsity High School girls will have an opportunity to take on the number 1 ranked Little River team Saturday in Goessel. The game will start at 3:00 PM. Next week the JH teams will play Blue Valley on Monday the 11th starting at 5:15 with 1/2 C team boys game.  Tuesday the 12th, the HS will go to Blue Valley for JV/V contests.  Thursday the 14th, the JH will host Clifton Clyde, games starting at 5:45.  Friday the 15th, the HS teams will face Onaga at home. Winter Ball will be December 16th.  Furthermore, please save the date for our school Winter Concert on December 19th at 7:00 PM. Our students have been working hard to put on a great show. Lastly, please note that December 21st will be a half day for students. Dismissal will take place at 11:30 AM, and no lunch will be served that day. On a positive note, I would like to congratulate Gus Penner and Bentley Springer for receiving the Kindness Award. Their acts of kindness have not gone unnoticed, and we are proud to have them as part of our school community. Wishing you all a joyful and peaceful holiday season. Sincerely, Cory Jensen Principal
