BVL tournament will start this week. Brackets were posted earlier. Our girls will play Thursday at 4:45 and our boys will play Thursday at 6:00. Tomorrow we host Washington Co. for high school basketball games. Here is the schedule: High School 4:00 - 1/2 C team boys 4:45 - JV girls 6:00 - Varsity girls 7:30 - Varsity boys St. John's 6:00 - JV boys Go Cats!

Congratulations to the boys and girls basketball teams. They both represented well in the TVL tournament. The girls placed 3rd and the boys were tournament runner ups. Great job!

Congratulations to our two students who qualified for the Oral Spelldown in the County Spelling Bee. Braelynn Thornburg and Sawyer Rippe will be representing Hanover Public school next Thursday in Washington. Congratulations!

All TVL tournament games are delayed one hour to give schools more time to travel. Our girls will play in the semifinals at 2:30. Our boys will play their semifinal game at 7:00. Travel safe! Go Cats!

Hanover Schools will be in a two hour delay tomorrow morning, January 19. We will reevaluate and update in the morning if necessary. No morning preschool.

ATTN: Senior Parents - The HHS Graphic Design/Yearbook Class is working on finishing senior yearbook pages and beginning work on the senior video for graduation. Attached is a letter which is being sent home with your senior listing the items that we need to finish production. After a few phone calls from Blue Valley we have decided to cancel the JH games tonight. We believe this is the best decision moving forward. Thank you for your understanding

January Schedule Updates Dear Families, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to inform you about some important upcoming events. January 15th: Teacher Inservice Day - No school for students. TVL Basketball Tournament: The tournament will be held next week. Please check out the brackets, which have been posted on our school website and Facebook page. Our girls' team will be playing this Saturday, January 13th, at 11:00 am in Onaga. Junior High Basketball Games at Blue Valley: On Monday, there will be Junior High basketball games at Blue Valley. The schedule is as follows: New gym: A team girls: 5:45 pm, followed by A team boys Old gym: B team boys followed by 1/2 B team girls, followed by 1/2 C team boys. HS Boys' Quarterfinals at TVL Tournament: Our HS boys' team will play the winner of Linn/Valley Heights in the quarterfinals of the TVL tournament on Monday in Onaga at 7:45 pm. Girls' Quarterfinals at TVL Tournament: If our girls' team wins on Saturday, they will play against Frankfort in the quarterfinals at 3:15 pm in Onaga.
