The Junior High was surprised when they walked into class to discover the chairs and tables quit. As part of a fun writing exercise, they wrote letters from the perspective of the objects or students.

The track has taken on too much water to have Fun Day tomorrow. If your child wants to bring a sack lunch, that would be great. Otherwise, FBLA will be cooking hamburgers and hot dogs for elementary kids.
Unfortunately, no Fun Day tomorrow. We will see if we can find a date to make this up, but might not be able to. Thank you for your understanding. Look for an update tomorrow morning.

Come celebrate our seniors tonight at their Awards/Scholarship night tonight at 7:00 in the gymnasium.

The Junior High track team finished the season with awards and ice cream. In addition, the 7th grade boys team took a picture with the plaque. Not pictured: Grant, Tatum, Ian, and Ryder.


Seniors took a well-deserved break from Hamlet Monday to enjoy some Blizzard-style ice cream at Wildcat, hosted by Mrs. Strnad. Congratulations, Seniors, on making it to your last week of high school!

State Forensics was held on Saturday, May 6. Shelby Cole and Hannah Zarybnicky competed at State Champs which was held in Hutchinson. They each performed three times – Shelby in Extemporaneous Speech and Hannah in Prose.
Hope White and Ayden Olguin competed at State Festival which was held in Salina. Hope performed in Informative Speech and received a II Rating. Ayden performed in Poetry and received a I Rating. Congratulations to all the students on a great season!



What do you see? Many would say chaos...and it probably sounded that way. But what I see is LEADERSHIP, MENTORING, and TEACHING.
Hanover 7-12 band students took the 4th grade students this week and allowed them to try out ALL the instruments.
We are so excited to have our next generation of musicians begin playing!
