Happy Custodians Day! We are lucky to have Katy and Keri in our building!
We are excited to announce that Homecoming Week is scheduled for October 7th through October 11th. Due to not school on Friday for students, the Homecoming Celebration will take place on Thursday, October 10th, starting at 10 AM on Main Street. We invite everyone to join us as we foster community spirit and celebrate together. Of course the week will conclude with our football game against Wakefield, kickoff at 7:00.
FFA fall sales have started! Find a member to order from any of our four brochures that include fruit, chocolates, meats and cheeses, and cookie dough! Orders are due by October 18th! New this year, you can order online as well. Each student has their own online store front link. Products can either be shipped to school or shipped to your home! Email Miss Johnson at hjohnson@usd223.org for more information or if you would like the link to a specific members store front.

Summer EBT is available to all Kansas school children who are income-eligible to receive free and reduced-price meals during the school year. While many children were auto-issued for these benefits, plenty more can receive it, but only by completing an online form. Forms must be submitted by October 15, through the Department for Children and Families (DCF) website at www.dcfapp.kees.ks.gov.
