We made it back from National FBLA. Unfortunately, the girls came up a little short in making it to finals. Congratulations on a job well done and the amazing amount of work and dedication it took to make it to nationals. The girls got to attend FBLA night at Universal Studios, Disney Springs, Gatorland, and Blake Shelton's Ole Red restaurant.

We've had a great start to National FBLA in Orlando, FL. Opening ceremony, a trip to the beach, workshops, and presenting their Community Service Project.

Volleyball camp was a success this week! Thanks for allowing us to spend sometime with the future volleyball players of Hanover!!

Day 3 (Friday) of FFA state convention started with Jamie being recognized for her national scholarship. We were able to see dozens of other members recognized for their work in their Supervised Agricultural Experiences, as well as the installation of the 2024-2025 State FFA Officers! Prior to announcing the newly elected officers, we honored all of the Kansas State FFA Officer teams since 1928. Two Hanover alumni were recognized for their years of service in 1994-95 and 1996-97!

Just a reminder! Volleyball camp for little kids is next week! It will be on June 3,5,6, and 7! We will not go on the 4th due to the gym being occupied! 2nd through 5th grade will be from 8:00-8:45am and 6th through 8th grade will be from 9:00-10:00am!!! Can't wait to see you all there!!!
Day 2 of State FFA Convention was long but we made it to two general sessions where we got to hear from many speakers including Justin McKee from the Cowboy Channel. We sat in on the state finals for Extemporaneous Speaking - then we got to watch the winner be announced at our evening session. To end the day we had a late night, all member event at the KSU Rec Center. Ignite the Night was filled with card games, sports, dodgeball, crafts, and food. Our members had a great time meeting other members from all across the state while making bracelets.
Don't forget to watch the general session at 8 am this morning to see Jamie Bruna receive recognition for her National FFA Scholarship! http://www.watchacrestv.com/

Day 1 of state convention consisted of K-State farm tour and the FFA State Convention Opportunities Fair where we learned about post-secondary, career, and fundraising options. We are ending our first day at FFA night at LEAP trampoline park with hundreds of other FFA members from throughout the state!
Jamie Bruna will be recognized for her National FFA Scholarship on stage on Friday morning during the Fifth General Session which starts at 8 am. You can watch any of the general sessions at the link below! (Sign up and search for Kansas FFA) http://www.watchacrestv.com/

Great season by the golf team. Everyone shot their career best this season. Congratulations to Brigham who qualified for the state tournament next week in Hesston.

Kindergarten had a great time yesterday even though the rain changed our plans. First the stadium, then to the park for lunch. We even got to play a little before it started raining too hard. The zoo had to be cancelled but we made up for it with ice cream. Thank you Dan for driving and all the parents who went along.

The Regional golf meet scheduled for today has been postponed to tomorrow, May 14 at 11:00.
Great job by the golf team today. Team placed 4th in the TVL. Brigham medaled 6th and Maxwell Sawin medaled 10th. Regionals is Monday!
