Quilting Adventure… In Art this week, each student created a paper, rough draft of an 8x8 quilt block! The blocks were to be designed and personalized! Each student will now make a fabric quilt block! Also, a couple of the classes created some Indian Corn pieces of artwork!

Congratulations to Massey Holle and Ceegan Atkins (KVA 1st Team All State), Taeben Stallbaumer (KVA 2nd Team All State) and Anna Jueneman (KVA 3rd Team All State). What a great honor for these individuals and their teammates/coaches.
Massey Holle was voted by the coaches as 1A D2 Player of the Year. Congratulations Massey!

FBLA celebrated American Enterprise Day with elementary students yesterday and today. FBLA members read a book written by member Hannah Zarybnicky to the kindergarteners about saving money and making wise spending choices. 3rd and 4th graders got to use candy for money and make decisions whether to save it or spend it. 5th and 6th graders played Monopoly with high school FBLA members.




Today, HHS FBLA celebrated American Enterprise Day. One of the events of the day included an open house and judging of 7th and 9th grade business plan project ideas. Thank you to the 3 local businesspeople who came to judge and to all the community members who came in to see these projects.

Hanover High School FBLA celebrates American Enterprise Day with 7th and 9th Graders presenting their business project plans to the public. Everyone is invited to come see their presentation boards and hear their business pitches from 1:40 pm to 2:40 pm in the high school cafeteria. Refreshments will be served.


English 7 have been investigating tone, mood, and unreliable narrator as they read “The Tell-Tale Heat”. Today they participated in a silent discussion. Most agree the narrator was sane in committing the crime, but they disagree on whether it was manslaughter or First Degree Murder.





We would like to invite all local veterans and their families to a special Veterans Day breakfast.
Come mingle with our students, and let them meet our local heroes.
Breakfast will be served from 8-9:30.

Ava and Adria participated in Trumpet day at KSU and played in the halftime show vs Texas.
Kamryn and Zoe were selected to participate with ML NCKMEA Honor Choir in JC.



HHS FBLA members are hosting our 3rd annual Christmas Community Service Project on November 19th from 9-11:30 a.m. See flyer for more details! Hope to see you all there!


Mrs. Jueneman took some junior and seniors to attend the KSU Women in Business Summit held at the K-State Campus yesterday. This event was hosted by the K-State College of Business. There were informative workshops and awesome keynote speakers as well a tour of the College of Business building with group interactive activities included in the tour. There were six $1,000 scholarships awarded at this event to high school seniors attending K-State next fall planning to take business courses. HHS Senior Jasmine Butler was awarded one of these scholarships! Congratulations, Jasmine!
