We celebrated the Mexican and Latin American holiday “Dia de los Muertos” (November 1st & 2nd) The Day of the Dead in Art! (2)





We celebrated the Mexican and Latin American holiday “Dia de los Muertos” (November 1st & 2nd) The Day of the Dead in Art! The students learned 10 interesting facts about the holiday by watching a video and the JH celebrated with breakfast that Mrs. Stallbaumer made for them. Some of the projects included how to Step-by-Step draw a Sugar Skull, they made Sugar Skull masks, Sugar Skull paper chain friends, Pastel Sugar Skulls, Mixed Media Sugar Skulls, Watercolor Sugar Skulls, Sugar Skull paintings, Foil and Sharpie Sugar Skulls, Finger Painting Sugar Skull, Chalk Sugar Skulls and some Sugar Skull Sun-catchers…we also added some Watercolor Indian Corn and some Colored Pencil Indian Corn Drawings!
