To parents/guardians,
Kaw Valley Community Health Center will again be working with us on providing dental screening services at our school on October 6th. There is NO out of pocket cost to you for the services. I will be sending a letter home with your child/ren next week, If you just want the screening performed there is no need to fill out the consent form. If you want the fluoride treatment performed we DO NEED the form filled out and returned. If you absolutely DO NOT want this screening service at all please write NO on the dental letter and sign it and send it back with your child. The procedure takes about 30 seconds as the dental Hygenist(s) look at your child’s teeth/gums. I will send an email/letter home regarding the findings of the screenings. Please have these forms returned to me by September 30th. Have your child give them to their teacher, or take them to the front office. We are also working with the County Health Department and we are planning a vaccine clinic on Friday October the 7th. At this time we are looking at starting at St. John’s school around 9:45 and then will be at the Public school after that. As we get closer we will provide a link that you may access and there will be an area for you to mark which vaccine you would like for your child. Each child will have a separate consent form. We would appreciate it if you can have the consent forms completed by Monday October the 1st so we can make plans. If you have other family members that would like to receive these vaccines, please fill out the online form and send me a message, we just want to make sure we are prepared.

Due to a scheduling conflict, we are having to move our originally scheduled JH football game vs Axtell from Sept 22nd to October 20th. Along with the change in date, we have changed the location to a neutral field. The JH football team will play Axtell on October 20th, at the Marysville HS football field.
The JH volleyball team will now be playing a Quad at Axtell on September 22nd.
