
Fans came out to give a traditional Hanover good luck sendoff to our boys and girls basketball teams who are headed to the State Tournament in Great Bend! It’s a great day to be a Wildcat! Good luck to both teams!

After viewing today’s forecast, there will be no Junior High Track practice today. Stay warm and safe travels.

Today there will be a sendoff for BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS at 9:50 in between the high school gym and St. John's. Good luck to both teams the rest of this week. They will represent Hanover well!

We will have two send offs tomorrow for our basketball teams heading to state. Our boys will be leaving town at 10:00, so feel free to send them off at 9:50.
Our girls will be leaving for state at 2:30, so come up to the school and send them off around 2:20.

Congratulations to the Hanover Wildcats girls and boys basketball teams who won sub-state in Axtell on Saturday night! We look forward to supporting the players, coaches, and school this week at state at Barton County Community College in Great Bend!!! The boys play their first round game on Wednesday at 6 PM and the girls play on Thursday at 8 PM. Congratulations and good luck to both teams!!!

There will be a half day of school on Wednesday. Dismiss at noon, lunch will be served. There will be no school Thursday or Friday.

State brackets are out! Next weeks plans are be ironed out now and will let you know as soon as we can! Go ‘Cats! So proud of both our teams.

The elementary students have been enjoying the week of Dr. Seuss Read Across America activities. Yesterday, students wore school colors to support the basketball teams; Today they wore pajamas or comfy clothes. Round 2 of Seuss Madness also began. By Tuesday we will know which Dr. Seuss book is the favorite.




Good luck to our girls basketball team as they take on Wetmore in the semifinals of sub state! We will play at 7:30 at Axtell.

Yesterday “Green Eggs and Ham” was the enjoyed more than The “Book of Color”. Today students dressed up for their career. There were vets, farmers, mechanics, athletes, photographers, teachers, etc. Tomorrow’s theme is wear red and blue to support Hanover’s basketball teams.

Our senior class had the great opportunity to visit the Auschwitz Exhibition in Kansas City. This was a great experience for all. This exhibit has been in New York and Kansas City. After March 20th this exhibit will head back to Europe.


Tomorrow’s Junior High track practice will be over by 5:00 p.m.
