Linn FFA completes their fall roadside cleanup tonight from Linn to HWY 148 on Osage Rd. Great Way to give back to the community and protect our environment.

HS Volleyball has picked up a dual match Tuesday 9/22 at Frankfort starting at 5pm. Format will be JV, V, JV

Parents of Seniors, The North Central Regional Planning Commission is providing a unique opportunity for seniors to earn an $850 scholarship. Two $850 scholarships will be awarded. The contest is called the 2020-2021 Rural Voices Youth Contest. Seniors can write an essay or make a video. It doesn't depend on grades or the ACT score, so all seniors have a shot at winning. Please go to www.ncrpc.org/ruralvoices for information on the contest. Please encourage your student to enter.

The State has put together the Kansas Post-Secondary Exploration Guide.  It contains all kinds of information on all the post-secondary schools in Kansas.  There is also a lot of career information including High Demand, High Paying careers in our area. There is some information on Financial Aid and much more. Just Google "Kansas Post-Secondary Exploration Guide."  It has many links to a great deal of information. Check it out with your student. Encourage them to think about the future and remind them that the more informed he/she is, the better their decisions about their future should be. Thanks.

The HS Volleyball Quad at Blue Valley on 9/22 has been cancelled. Please keep posted for any schedule changes if they become available.

FYI: The JH Volleyball Tournament Saturday 9/19 vs Flint Hills Christian has been cancelled.

Linn JH VB will play at Clifton on 9/17 with the following schedule attached. WC/Linn football will also be at Clifton with game time at 6:30

Due to growing interest, starting this Wednesday (9/16) the weight room will be open to any 7-12 students that are unable to be in a weights class or want to put extra work in. This will run on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. We will start at 7:00 am in the back parking lot and go until 7:40.

LHS Volleyball travels to Doniphan West Tuesday September 15th. Please see schedule and pertinent information attached.

Linn HS Volleyball: We have added a quad match on Oct 3rd to replace the Rock Hills tournament. This quad will be at Logan with teams of Republic County, Thunder Ridge, Logan/Palco and Linn. All matches will be in the main gym: schedule is included on image.

Information about Tuesday (9/8) home HS VB gave vs. Centralia & Onaga. Come out and support the Bulldogs. We will recognize the seniors before the Centralia varsity game. Games will start at 4:00 pm. Game order: Linn vs. Centralia JV Linn vs. Onaga JV Linn vs. Onaga Varsity (will not start before 6 pm) Centralia vs. Onaga Varsity Linn vs. Centralia Varsity Admission $5 for adults and $3 for students Concessions will be available. Everyone needs to enter via the front door and will have their temperature taken. See attached sheet for more details and information.

The Rock Hills Volleyball High School tournament on October 3rd has been cancelled from our schedule as they are selecting to do another format with fewer teams as a result of COVID conditions. We will keep you posted if other alternatives can be arranged.
