JH FB Schedule 4:30PM Kickoff
On Monday, Oct. 12th we will be making up the JH VB & FB games with Valley Heights. The games will be at Washington Co. VB will start at 4:00 pm and FB will start at 4:30 pm.

For Volleyball:
Guidelines: 1) Temperature will be taken at the entrance to the School, and any individual with temperature of 100.4 or above will be denied entrance. 2) The wearing of masks for spectators is a requirement, as is Social Distancing. Concessions: will be limited to packaged foods and drinks.
Spectator Admission: There will be a spectator limit for VB - each athlete is allowed 2 tickets. Coach Beikman has already collected most of the names of parents who want to attend, but if you have questions, please contact Ms. Root.
Alternative viewing options: Axtell is going to have the NFHS Pixellot camera, with internet access platform, installed this Fall and the link for the Broadcast will be sent and available to all subscribers when it is functioning.
Programs: Programs will not be handed out at the ballgame, a link for the programs will be available to download on their phones or tablets and a file for fans to access and print the programs on their own, or access them digitally.
For FB -
Spectator Admission: As of now, there are no limitations on the number of spectators for Home and Visiting spectators.

Linn has been selected to host Class 1A DII HS VB Sub State on October 24th. We need approximately 13 people to help through out the day with gate and temperature checks. We also need volunteers to be line judges. If you would be willing to help or have questions, please contact Ms. Root. It will take all of us to conduct this tournament with excellence.

There has been a change is tonight's VB schedule. Linn JV will play Valley Heights JV at 5 pm and Linn Varsity will play a best 3 out of 5 match at 6 pm. Come out and support the Bulldogs.
Congratulations to the Linn FFA for a successful land and Homesite CDE. The senior team of Ryan Stuenkel, Trent Beier, Holden Dittmer and Wyatt Wurtz won the Homesite CDE with Individuals medaling Ryan 1st, Trent 2nd and Holden 9th. In Land the team ranked 2nd with Ryan 2nd and Trent 6th overall.
The Greenhand team placed 2nd in Land with Anthony Ayala 4th, Will Olson 8th and Gavin Turk 16th. Great job Bulldogs

Cooking in FACS classes
Claire's bus is broke down in Palmer and that route will be running late today dropping off students. The route will resume once the students are transferred to the replacement bus on its way.
JH football for Thursday vs Blue Valley at Blue Valley has been cancelled now to go along with the JH Volleyball.
The JH VB games against Blue Valley for tomorrow night, Sept. 23, have been cancelled. They are going to try and play the FB game starting at 6:30 pm.
Linn High School will serve as a neutral site HS Football host this Friday night 9/25 to Onaga vs High Plains Community Schools Polk, at 6:30 p.m. Linn Bulldog Backers will be collecting admission and operating the concessions as a Fitness Center Fundraiser for Linn Schools. Masks are strongly recommended. Admission is $5 Adult, $3 Student and $2 Seniors with no league passes accepted. Come out and support the backers and check out the Friday night lights.

FFA members are competing in a virtual land and homesite career development event today in Ag class. Our host has sent samples and land data from the sites for members to gain hands on experiences and submit online forms to be scored and tabulated. Great learning experience for our students.

The Juniors had their ASVAB test scores interpreted today. They also worked through the Career Exploration Program that is tied to the ASVAB. Ask you son or daughter about their results. They can continue to use the website they used today for up to two years. There is information about careers, post-secondary education, financial aid and and of course the military on this website. Please encourage them to use it. Talk to them about their future, what their interest inventory results were and what careers they researched.
