Congratulations to the Linn FFA Homesite Team for placing 3rd at State Area in Belleville Thursday Oct 3rd. Trent Beier lead team scores placing 9th overall. Other team members were Jace Schaefer, Tyler Ohlde and Kyle Richardson. In the land division, medalists included Holden Dittmer, 3rd overall and Ryan Stuenkel 10th. The team placed fifth overall.
Some of the students in Mr. Hildebrand’s art class finished up the wall in the weight room today. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Thank you so much for your hard work!
Attached is information on the Cloud County Community College STEAM Day. It is for students that are interested in Science, Technology Education, Agriculture or Mathematics. You may win a $2000 scholarship.

Beginning October 1st, the Free Application for Federal Aid or FAFSA may be completed by students who are planning to attend a post-secondary school next year and their parents.
Remember, you can fill out the FAFSA at school with the help of a College Financial Aid officer on October 24th at 6:00. Attached is some information that was given to the seniors. Please read it carefully to prepare for filling out the FAFSA.
Due to heavy rains, FFA State Land and Homesite CDE has been rescheduled to Thursday Oct 3rd in Belleville.
Unfortunately due to circumstances we have had to cancel Friday’s football game vs DWest.
Linn will host DWest on Friday night playing a 6 man game under 8 man rules starting at 7pm. Homecoming will still be the Oct 18th game vs Southern Cloud.
Due to circumstances, we are changing the date of Homecoming to October 18 when the Bulldogs will take on Southern Cloud. Please watch for information about the Bonfire and other homecoming activities. We appreciate your understanding.

Claire Beikmann medaled with a 16th place finish in the girls race.
Cross Country competed yesterday in the Republic County XC invite. Daniel York finished 4th, Trent Beier finished 16th, Isaac Rogge finished 31st, and Gunner Turk finished 36th with a new PR. The kids ran great and competed very well.
The 5th & 6th Grade Linn/Washington Chiefs will be playing in Washington, Saturday, Sept. 28th. Don't forget to eat at the concession stand. Have a great time.
