Results of yesterdays JH Track Meet at Osborne. Kids competed hard and walked away with some personal/school records. Was great to see different competition to continue to push ourselves to get better!

Four Linn FFA members traveled to NCK Tech in Beloit on April 4 for the NCD Ag Tech Management contest. Members demonstrated their understanding of electrical, carpentry, welding, small gas engines, and general tool identification.
The team placed 3rd. Conner Ohlde placed 6th individually and Gavin Turk 11th. This team will compete at State later this month.
Today is the day! K-12 music concert is tonight at 7:00 pm! Exciting news this will be live on Facebook tonight on Linn Music Facebook page. K-4 parents, please have your students in their classrooms at 6:40 pm. 5th grade students in their classroom at 6:20 and 6th grade in their classroom at 6:30 pm. 7-12 grade in the bandroom at 6:20.

The Linn Football Team would like to invite everyone to come out on April 26th at 7:00 pm and enjoy some Donkey Basketball! Tickets are currently for sale by purchasing from a current (grades 7-11) football player. If interested in riding a donkey and participating, please talk to a football player, as they are putting teams together! Concession stand will open at 5:30 with a meal provided. Hope to see everyone there!

Thursday's High School Track Meet at Frankfort has been moved up to Wednesday (tomorrow) due to weather. Field events will now be starting at 3:00 pm, with running starting at 4:00 pm.
Results of yesterdays JH Track Meet at Washington County. It was a little windy, but the kids competed hard!
Yesterday, Linn FFA members and Ag Explorations students competed at the North Central FFA District Livestock CDE at Clay Center.
The JH team placed 5th. Deavon Ohlde placed 4th individually and Alivia Meier 9th. The Greenhand team also placed 11th.

Order of events for today's track meet
High school students traveled to the University of Kansas last weekend for the annual World Language Fair. Students could choose which world language sessions they attended as well as speak to many college representatives about their programs. Some highlights were Japanese calligraphy, Caribbean rumba dance class, the Roman selfie, Korean pop culture, and flamenco dancing. We have attended every year that KU has put on the event!

TVL Art - Part 1 - Onsite team competitions - We had a great day at TVL Art! The theme this year was Graffiti: Street Art. We won 2nd Place for the Cardboard Street Art Play on Words competition, by Abril Alvarado and Joselin Rodriguez. And we won 3rd place for the Design a Graffiti Tag poster contest, by Sofia Uffman and Jenna Merritt. We didn't place for the Ceiling Tile competition, but we love its authenticity! Stay tuned for individual winners.
