Fall is in the air! Art Club painted the windows at the Linn Community Nursing Home with fall-themed designs. The residents really enjoyed watching them paint!
Scholars bowl starts at the beginning of November. We had a meeting today and sent home papers with the upcoming meet dates. Parents are welcome to attend the meets.

Yesterday, Linn FFA members competed at the North Central District FFA Land and Homesite Career Development Events (CDEs). Students determined soil textures, sloped, erosion, and land capability classes.

Summer EBT is available to all Kansas school children who are income-eligible to receive free and reduced-price meals during the school year. While many children were auto-issued for these benefits, plenty more can receive it, but only by completing an online form. Forms must be submitted by October 15, through the Department for Children and Families (DCF) website at www.dcfapp.kees.ks.gov.
Linn High School was recognized for being an All Star High School! The All Star High Schools went above and beyond by hosting an Apply Kansas event, FAFSA Completion events, and Senior Signing events for their graduating seniors.
Our Apply Kansas event will be on October 7th this year!

We are looking for two gate workers for tomorrows home volleyball games. Workers would need to report at 4:30 for New Gym and 5:30 for the Old Gym. We also are needing one gateworker for Friday at 5:45. If interested please let Coach Kuhlman know, thanks.
