The Bulldog Forensics team attended the regional forensics meet in Wamego this weekend. The team did a great job, with all members scoring high marks of 1's & 2's, and several earning medals and spots in the upcoming State competition. Camryn Beikmann who had previously qualified with Liz Olson in IDA, will also be taking her original Oration to State. Sofia Uffman will be taking her Prose and Poetry pieces, and King Voelker will take his Prose piece. State competition is on May 3rd at Wesleyan University in Salina. Go Bulldogs!

The forensics team traveled to Wamego and competed in the areas of oration, IDA, poetry and prose in one of the last meets of their season Thursday night. Saturday they will return to Wamego for regionals before getting ready for State Competition which takes place on May 3rd.

Today, the 7-12 band went to State Large Group in Concordia. They played their two pieces for 3 judges. We received a 2 rating from all three judges. A 2 rating is excellent.

Last Thursday, members traveled to Fort Hays Tech North Central to compete in the NCD Ag Tech Management CDE.
Liam Voelker placed 13th.
Other team members included Greyson Ohlde and Collin Rosebaugh.
At the North Central FFA District Banquet in Chapman, Gabe Turk was recognized for earning his state degree. He will receive his state degree at the 97th Kansas FFA Convention in May. Dylan Ohlde and Brigham Hansen also served as our voting delegates, helping to elect the upcoming district officer team.
MEET DAY NOTIFICATIONS
Saturday, April 5, these young ladies traveled to Concordia for Regional Music Contest. They performed their solos that they have been working hard on.
Camryn received a 1 rating and will be continuing on to state contest at the end of the month in Hesston.
Sofia received a 3 rating on her trombone solo.
Spring Sports "Meet the Bulldogs" night will be Monday night, April 14 at 5:30pm in the new gym. There will be a "Bulldog Backer" meeting to follow.
Driver's Education Reminder:
Anyone wanting to take driver's education offered by USD 223 this summer needs to get the district forms turned in (available in the office), and pay the $100 to secure your spot. We had multiple students show interest, and less than half have completed the forms and paid dues. Thanks!
TVL Art - Pt. 1 - Onsite Competitions ~ We had a great time at TVL Art Day this year! The theme was "Sweet Art" with a lot of donuts in the mix! Linn teams received 1st Place for Character Design by Yani Olguin, Joselin Rodriguez, Abril Alvarado, and Nathaniel Carpenter. And we received 2nd Place for Story/Comic Illustration by Sofia Uffman, Matt Kearn, and Jaxon Welch. Other categories included Character Sculpture and Ceiling Tile. Every team did a great job!
