Youth Football Appreciation: The High School football team would like to invite and recognize all of your kids playing youth football this fall. We would like to invite the kids to join the high school team as they walk to the field and run out of the tunnel. Please meet at 6:40 by the new gym stairs if your child wants to participate. Also, we will recognize the youth at halftime of the football game. We will have the kids line up on the sideline as we read their names. Hope all youth are able to participate. Thanks.

On Saturday, September 24th, ACT is hosting a live event for students and parents covering all things career and college planning. Register even if you can't attend live! You will have access to the recordings afterwards. ACT’s My Journey event provides valuable information to help students and parents confidently navigate the college admissions process. It’s important to remember that while everyone’s journey after high school follows a unique path, there are some common things you can do to make the best decisions about your future. https://www.act.org/content/act/en/students-and-parents/college-and-career-planning-event.html

Congratulations to the Linn FFA for earning District Champs in both the Senior Divsions of Land and Homesite Career Development Events held in Norway hosted by Mankato. Members evaluated elements of soil properties including texture, slope, soil depth, erosion, runoff and permeability to problem solve and determine land classes and land management treatments. In Homesite they evaluated the same factors for foundations and buildings, lawns and landscaping, septic and lagoons. Medal honors went to Ryan Stuenkel 1st high point individual in both events overall, Holden Dittmer 6th in Land and 3rd in Homesite, Ethan Bott 7th in Land, Nick Rosebaugh 9th in Homesite, Will Olson 10th in Homesite. The Greenhand team placed 4th overall with medal honors to Dylan Ohlde 3rd overall in Land. Congratulations on a job well done. They will compete at State Area in Washington on Oct 6th for the rights to compete at Nationals in May.
