We read Bartholomew and the Ooblek at story time today. Then, the first and sixth graders made ooblek together! It may have been messy but they had a lot of fun!










The Many Moccasins Dance Troupe are known for their new and more contemporary approach to Native American theater and have specialized in native entertainment for many years.
They will perform Saturday, March 23, at 3 p.m. at Alcove Spring Historic Park.
Bring your friends ... and a lawn chair ... to enjoy this unique performance!


Junior high students elected to clean and organize the locker rooms as a part of their class service project. They did a great job!


The High School Boys Basketball Awards Banquet will take place on March 18 at 6:00 in the New Gym. This will take place along with the girls recognition.

HS Scholars' Bowl had our end of year party on Tuesday. We celebrated with a pizza party and teachers vs students matches. Teachers won 3-0.

Today was Career Day and FFA Jacket Day! National FFA Week - Wednesday
Members prepared pancakes, sausage, bacon, and eggs for our Staff Appreciation Breakfast! It was also, Dress Like Mr. Wright Day for the dress up day. Tiny Tractors have been hidden around the school for our Find the Tractor Scavenger Hunt.





National FFA Week - Tuesday
We had Drive Your Tractor to School Day! There were various tractors including John Deere, Case IH, and Massey Harris represented. We also had the Kansas FFA President and Sentinel visit and facilitate workshops with members, learning how we can help motivate others through enthusiasm.









Thursday's home boys basketball game against Southern Cloud will begin at 6:00 pm. It was originally scheduled for 7.
Each year, KMEA hosts an In-Service Workshop at the Century II Convention Center in Wichita. At this important annual event, speakers, performers, and vendors gather together to represent the best of music education throughout the state.
This year, Trisha Merritt has been selected to perform with 12A Honor Band.
