
Freshman students worked together to define aspects of healthy and unhealthy communication, as well as practiced “I” statements as a constructive communication device. An “I” statement is a technique used to express yourself when you are upset without accusing the other person or escalating the situation. It encourages productive discussion and conflict resolution.

Congrats to Sophia, Ella, and Megan for earning TVL All-League Volleyball Honors. Sophia was selected to the first team, while Megan and Ella were selected to second team. Congrats ladies!

INFORMATION FOR THURSDAY'S FALL SPORTS BANQUET.


A wonderful group of dedicated world language students traveled to the University of Kansas Saturday to participate in the World Language Fair. Over 20 languages and cultures were represented as well as 7 universities. Students participated in sessions ranging from Hispanic dance lessons, Chinese food culture, and ancient Roman fashion to French slang and many more!





A visit from the Washington County Sheriffs office wrapped up our Red Ribbon Week. JH learned about the effects of vaping. HS students engaged in a productive discussion about safe driving and the dangers of fentanyl. Elementary got to eat popcorn while learning about Halloween safety!
