USD 223 received 7 awards from KSDE for excellence in education! Congratulations to our students, families, teachers, all staff and administration for their commitment to excellence.
USD 223 earned Gold stars for our graduation rate and social-emotional growth programs, a Silver star for postsecondary effectiveness, Bronze stars in kindergarten readiness and Individual plans of study, a Copper star for academically preparing our students for graduation and we earned the State of Kansas Commissioner's Award for 2022!
It is rewarding to see students', teachers', staff and families hard work and dedication to excellence pay such tremendous dividends!

GAMEDAY NOTIFICATION
Linn FFA hosted the North Central District Dairy CDE at the Ohlde Dairy on Oct 19th with 389 total participants. They judged 7 classes, took a written exam and gave oral reasons over there placings. The Linn Ag Exploration class participated in the Exploratory Division placing 2nd as a team. Medalists included Izzy Rogge placing 4th overall and Geni Turk was 10th. The Linn GH Team placed 10th overall out of 25 schools. A special thanks to the Ohlde Family for allowing us to use of facilities and cattle, Ryan Nelson and Kyler Ohlde on excellent tours, Jacks for the meal catering and our parent and alumni helpers who served the meal. KSU served as officials and the Cloud County Community College judging team listened to reasons.
Reminder that we will have Senior Night for our HS Football players as well as Cross Country runner at 6:40 Friday evening. The theme for the game as requested by the cheerleaders is Pink Out.

STEAM has been learning and practicing coding skills these past few weeks. The culmination was an original design project of student choice using SCRATCH or another platform of student choosing. Projects ranged from animation to games depending on each students skill level and interest.
Linn Schools Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday, October 20 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm.
* Grades K-6 will be traditional conferences in the classroom.
* Grades 7-12 will be student led conferences in the assigned teacher classroom.
* Everyone should have received a sign-up email to select a time slot or to confirm your slot in the elementary.
