Dear 8th Grade Parents,
On May 17, 2022, Linn Schools will hold a promotion ceremony for our 8th grade students. The ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm. Below is information that you will need to make sure everything goes smoothly:
1. Please have your student in the high school library no later than 6:30 pm. This will give you time to take pictures before the ceremony.
2. There is a dress code. We want everyone to be dressed in their best clothes. Young men need to be in a button-down shirt, slacks or khakis with dress shoes. Young ladies need to be in nice pants or a dress. Since they will be sitting on the stage, please do not have the dress too short, Modesty should be taken into consideration. Students need to wear nice shoes. Please no jeans or tennis shoes.
3. We ask the parents not to bring noisemakers to the ceremony. We want everyone to hear what is being said. Please be respectful of others.
I am looking forward to an evening where we can celebrate the accomplishments of the students.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Lee Schmidt

Art Club went to the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Kansas City!

Art Teacher Assistant Lindsay Mueller's last day with the Kindergarten! Soon to be a high school graduate and 1st graders! Thanks Lindsay for everything! We'll miss you! <3

Mrs. Napier and some of the LINN High School Art students have been working on a mural in the school cafeteria all year. Mrs. Napier is letting each elementary class take part in helping paint some on the mural! The first graders were pretty proud to be a part of this today! Some day they can look back at the mural and say they had the opportunity to help with it! So neat!!! Proud of our kids at LINN!!

Reminder, tonight we have NHS Inductions/Spring Awards night starting at 7:00 in the Old Gym.

Update to the Summer Weights Teams. Once again, if I miss someone please let me know.
