Last night, the Fairbury Elks Lodge honored the top four seniors and juniors from area schools. Juniors: Braylon, Gillian, Leigha, and Trinity. Seniors: Anna, Camron, Braden, and Hannah. Emma received first place for their Most Valuable Student Scholarship. Congratulations to all!

The HHS FBLA National Qualifiers will host a Bake Sale in conjunction with the FFA Chicken BBQ tomorrow, May 6th, in the high school cafeteria to raise funds to compete at nationals in Anaheim in June. Your support would be greatly appreciated!

Congratulations to Hannah Zarybnicky! At State Forensics Championships she advanced to Semifinals and then Finals in Original Oration - placing 5th in State Class 1A!

Senior Send Off at Linn today. The seniors heard from a variety of speakers to prepare for life after high school. Including topics on: mental health, insurance, finances, job interviews, healthy eating, self-defense, healthy relationships, vehicle maintenance, and drug/alcohol awareness.

Don't forget: Konza Prairie will be providing dental screenings for grades 7-12 on May 1st! If you want your student to participate, please have them listen for the announcement that morning or let the school know! You only need to fill out forms if you would like your student to receive fluoride! (See previous post for forms or get them from the office)
Driver's Education - Summer 2025
Final signup for Drivers Education for this summer will close on May 7th. If you would like to enroll your son/daughter in drivers education and have not let the school secretary know AND submitted your $100 fee then please do so by end of day, May 7th in order for district staff to enroll each student in the online class portion of the program. Students will have roughly a month to complete the online course. Students will then take the written test and complete the driving portion of the program in the later part of June and early July. More information including logins and official deadlines, will be forthcoming after May 7th.
