National FFA Week is here! We are excited to celebrate with a fun filled schedule of dress up days and activities. See the flyer attached to know what to wear!
Students, please check the list in Miss Johnson's room to see if you sold enough fundraising items in the fall for the Pizza Party on Wednesday and be sure to sign yourself and a partner up for corn hole by Wednesday, 2/21.


The Music department received a generous donation of music instruments from Sherry and Wayne Trafford. Our students will now have like new instruments to replace some of our older less workable ones. Thank you so much!


The kindergarten class visited the Ag room today and learned about the life cycle of a plant, how to plant seeds, and the necessities for plants to grow. Then, with the help of the high school Plant and Soil Science students, they each planted their own flower seeds. The high school students will water their seeds for them, and the kindergarteners will come check their seed growth periodically. Once their plants are sprouted, they will get to transplant them to bigger pots.





Congratulations to the Seniors being recognized tonight for their final home game.



HHS FBLA celebrated FBLA Week this week. They enjoyed making some connections with the 8th grade students, reading to many elementary classes, reflecting on why they love FBLA.Here are some photos from this week.





Important Announcements
Dear Families,
We are excited to announce that our Student Led Conferences were once again a success. It is our hope that our students are able to take accountability for their learning and demonstrate their path towards post-secondary life. We appreciate the support and involvement from all the families.
Winter Sports Update
As the winter sports season comes to a close, we would like to provide some updates on the schedules. Please mark your calendars for the following events:
February 16th: Senior Night against Troy at our home venue.
February 19th: Makeup game at Axtell.
For the upcoming Sub State tournament, the 1 seed will receive a first-round bye. We are proud to announce that our girls' team has secured the 1 seed and will receive a bye in the first round. The boys' team will either be the 1 or 2 seed. If they secure the 2 seed, they will play a home game on February 22nd.
Sub State semifinals will take place at Randolph on February 29th for the boys' team and on March 1st for the girls' team. The Sub State championships will be held on March 2nd. Stay tuned for more detailed information as the tournament progresses.
BVL Scholar's Bowl
Hanover will be hosting the BVL Scholar's Bowl on February 20th. If you would like to contribute and help out with the event, please reach out to Heather Stallbaumer.
K-8 Spring Picture Day

The kindergartners played "Practice the Cactus" for their counseling lesson this month. They learned about personal space and keeping their pokey cactus hands to themselves! 🌵🤓

I missed getting in one group and we had a couple boys sick so we will get another picture Monday. The class also reminded me that they hunted for 100 candy kisses and made fruit loop necklaces.


The kindergarten celebrated 100 days of school today (a little late). We kept busy showing off our hats, making 100, gumballs with dabbers, making towers with marshmallows and toothpicks, stamping books and building with blocks.
