This week 7th graders are collaborating on two poems through poetry stations.

Due to illness there will be a change in the JH basketball schedule tonight. There will be NO C team girls game, and there will only be 1/2 a B team boys game. So the new schedule will be: 4:00 - B team girls (4 min quarters), followed by 1/2 a B team boys, followed by A girls, followed by A boys.

Good afternoon, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone, with the flu, Covid, and cold seasons upon us it is important to remember that if your child is sick please keep him/her home until symptom-free for 24 hours. Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter in order to keep the general health of our school at optimal levels. Thank you and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

HHS FBLA will have their December meeting on Friday to celebrate the holidays and discuss districts and the activities scheduled for the rest of December.

The personal finance class took part in a scavenger hunt to reinforce learning on payroll taxes, withholding taxes, and W-4 forms.

HHS FBLA held their 3rd annual Christmas event for area youth and their families on Saturday. The Polar Express Event included a reading of the popular Christmas book, train ornament crafts, coloring pages, and each child got a bell. Children also wrote letters to Santa and got their pictures taken with him. The final stop was a treat of hot cocoa and cookies. Donations were collected for the Washington County Angel Tree at the event, and thanks to everyone's support $215 was raised.
