Hanover's FBLA and FFA Chapters donate new, electronic projection screen through the community's constant support of their fundraisers! Thank you to Austin Lawrence for his assistance in ordering and installing this screen! We look forward to using it for the first time at graduation on Sunday!

Congratulations to our seniors. Last night they were recognized and awarded over $250,000 worth of scholarships. They are a very hard working and driven group. Thank you to Mrs Hagedorn for all the work she puts into helping our kids secure these scholarships. Great job class of 2022!

Congratulations to the KSHSAA True Blue Scholarship Recipients TOPEKA, Kan. – The Kansas State High School Activities Association is proud to announce the 34 stu­dents selected for a $2,000 scholarship made payable to a two-year or four-year accredited college, uni­versity or technical school in the name of the selected student. “Kansas schools are filled with outstanding students who excel in the classroom, in competition and per­formance, and in the community” said Executive Director Bill Faflick. “Having the opportunity to recog­nize students from across the state for the first time in association history is an honor. Scholarship criteria: Eligibility Students must be seniors attending and graduating from a member school of the Kansas State High School Ac­tivities Association during the 2021-22 school year and have rostered in the activity chosen below their senior year. They must be considered as students in good standing as confirmed by their building principal. Students must enroll and attend a post-secondary institution of their choice as a full-time student within two years of graduation of graduation. Applicants must be in their final semester of high school. Selection Criteria The student were selected based upon an assessment of the following components: Community Service (30%) Academic achievement (30%) Activity achievement (15%) Breadth of school activity participation (10%) Financial need (15%) Applications were reviewed by a panel of educators and stakeholders who support the mission of the Kansas State High School Activities Association. Mission Statement The Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) serves students by providing leadership for the administration of education based interscholastic activities.

Thank you to all those who supported our HHS FBLA National Qualifiers Bake Sale Monday night at the music concert! If you missed out Monday night, we will be having one more bake sale on Tuesday, May 10th, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in conjunction with the FFA Chicken BBQ. Thank you for all your support!

3rd times a charm! We will NOT be changing the dates for the volleyball camp just the times of the age groups! I did not realize there was another activity that week as well! Here are the new times! 2nd-5th grade will be at 8:00am 6th-8th grade will be at 9:00am…..I realize this may not help out 6th grade so much but if you can work something out that would be great!!!

Senior students participated in Senior Send Off with various presenters discussing topics that can provide support after graduation. All Washington county schools participated. Thank you to all of our presenters and counselors for organizing this great event.

Congratulations to the Junior High Track teams for completing their season yesterday at BVL. Despite cool temperatures, athletes performed well and several had personal bests. Congrats to 7th girls for winning BVL!

Due to gym getting repainted and floors redone, volleyball camp has been moved! New forms will go out today!! Hope to see you there! Forms are due to Mrs. Holle by May 19th!!

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We are blessed to have some of the best teachers in the state at Hanover. Our teachers consistently go above and beyond to make sure our students are successful and prepared for life after high school. We cannot thank them enough for all they do for our students. Thank you teachers!

Come out tonight and enjoy the music performances of all of our students at Hanover! The concert begins at 7:00.
