We are looking for workers for our gameday events for the upcoming sports year. If interested in working gates (2 each event) or have a group that would like to work concessions stands, please contact Trevor Kuhlman at tkuhlman@usd223.org. If you have interest in helping keep books/clocks/or anything sport specific (lines/chains), please contact either the head coaches or Trevor Kuhlman to get that set up. Today, the Linn FFA Officer Team attended Ohlde Seed's Field Day. We got to learn through sessions on their Corn, Sorghum, and Soybean Show Plots, Precision Planting, Agronomics, and Plant Fertility.
We got to wrap up the day listening to the keynote speaker, Mitch Holthus, voice of the Kansas City Chiefs, and gain some insight on how to grow as leaders in agriculture.
Linn FFA hosted a School Year Kickoff Event for all JH and HS students on August 16. There was a watermelon feed and a kick ball game. There was a great turn out and we look forward to having a great year!

Also starting on 8/14-8/16, we will be offering optional conditioning after school until 4:30. This is NOT be sport specific. and open to all athletes 6-12. If you decide to attend, please have transportatoin available at 4:30. We will meet on the track all 3 days weather permitting.
