Here is the summer schedules for weights/activities as well as the weights teams. Teams were drafeted by our summer captains based on current athletic participation/known interest with incoming students. If we missed someone, please let Coach Kuhlman know and we will get them added to a team. Summer weights is an optional for all 6-12 Linn students, and attendance is up to each student. Our goal is to not only improve the overall athleticism of our students, but to work towards our team goals together. Those team goals are easier to achieve when everyone is pushing each other to become the best athletic version of ourselves.
Summer Weights will start on June 2nd. We will have two sessions this year, with the first one from 6-7 am (typically boys) and a session from 8-9 am (typically girls.) Athletes are more than welcome to attend either session, it is just how we have ran it in the past.
On Mondays and Fridays (White Days) we will offer agility/speed training sessions from 7-8 am between the two weight sessions. Our Fall Sports (Gold) days will be on Tuesdays from 7-8 am. Thursday's will be designated as our Winter Sports (Black) days, with sessions from 7-8 am. Please note that week one we will have White Days all week due to HS Basketball Camps.
We hope all our students have a chance to relax for these next few weeks, and will be refreshed to hit the summer running!

This morning, Agriscience students and Linn FFA members hosted our Bulldog Barnyard for the elementary classes. They put together stations for Sheep/Goats, Companion Animals, Poultry, Beef, Grain Bin Safety, Dairy, and Tractor Safety.
Students learned about the importance of animal agriculture, enjoyed homemade ice cream, and about ways to be safe around grain bins and farm equipment.
