Congrats to Gavin Turk on becoming the single season leader in rushing yards, rushing attempts, and touchdowns. Here is Gavin pictured with the previous holder of these records, Shane Ohlde. Gavin also wraps up his career 2nd on many of the rushing categories. Gavin played 21 High School football games for the Bulldogs. Also a big shout out to fellow Senior Will Olson for paving the way for every carry, yard, and touchdown of Gavin's career. You two will greatly be missed!

We had a pumpkin carving/painting contest in HS and JH Art! Elementary students were the judges and the results are: Best Overall Pumpkin - Marcela Huerta, Best Carved Pumpkin - Tobi Reiber, and Best Painted Pumpkin - Britney Madera-Gutierrez! Congrats!

Day 2 of National FFA Convention took us to the expo, first general session, chapter meal at Buca di Beppo, and a group reflection. Members got to meet companies in the agriculture industry. We listened to Juan Bendaña as the keynote on bringing energy, courage, and confidence as leaders in our chapter, school, and community. We took time for a chapter meal and rounded it out with a group reflection on the keynote speaker before winding down for the night.

We want to invite our JH/HS Football parents and families to our recognition banquet on November 7th at 7:00 pm in the New Gym Commons Area. There will NOT be food provided, as this is just an opportunity to talk in depth about our student athletes success, growth, and the future of the program moving forward.

We have made it to Indianapolis for National FFA Convention. We spent today traveling and stopped to see the Gateway Arch in St. Louis.
