Linn FFA members traveled to Ellsworth today to compete at the NCD Poultry contest. They evaluated production hens, broilers, carcasses, graded eggs and carcasses, and identified poultry carcass parts.

A couple weeks late, but we would like to take a moment to thank Bulldog Backers for helping put on the Youth Basketball Tournament a few weekends back. We would also like to give a special thank you to Josh and Lisa Hiltgen for helping to organize the event. It was a big event, so thank you to eveyone invovled in making it a succesful one! Thank you Backers for all that you do to support our youth and the Bulldogs!

Valentine's Day is right around the corner! FCCLA is selling goody bags again this year. Flyers will be sent home with your child. Flyers can also be picked up at the front office OR feel free to print off the flyer below. More details about the goody bags on the flyer!
Cold and Flu season is here! Please encourage your student to wash their hands thoroughly with soap and warm water or to use hand sanitizer. Encourage them to cough and sneeze into their elbow, not their hands. Encourage them to drink plenty of water and to get a good night's sleep. If your child is sick, please do not send them to school!

Today was the first Forensics meet of the season! The freshmen kicked their season off by getting their feet wet at the Republic County meet in Belleville. Events that the Bulldogs competed in include Improvised Duet Acting (IDA), Oral Interpretation of Poetry, and Oral Interpretation of Prose. Our next meet will be on February 8th at Rock Creek.
