Good morning, Unfortunately we have had several cases of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease in the schools as well as Stomach bugs already. If your child is running a fever he/she has to remain home until they are fever free for 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or Ibuprofen. If they have had a stomach bug they again have to remain home for 24 hours after the last time they vomited or had diarrhea. If they have sores in their mouth and it is difficult for them to eat or drink due to the virus, again they will need to remain home until there is some improvement. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

USD 223 Community, Barring any late enrollees we are loosely locked into our bus and van routes. As normal for the beginning of the school year; it takes us about a week of growing pains before I get it right! Preschool vans are full with IEP and Daycare students. As we tighten up our times and seats go empty, we will make every effort to get them filled. Those parents and daycare providers have been notified pertaining to their children riding. If you didn't get a call for you preschooler; I apologize and will continue to do better with the assets we have. Looking forward to a great school year! t

USD 223 Communtity, As we get closer to the upcoming school year, expect a phone call from me for our bus riding students. I will be calling about any updates that my drivers and myself need to know about, from addresses to changed phone numbers. i will revise my group chats that are bus route specific; so please give me the cell phone number for the most responsive parent or guardian. I , in turn, will have any changes to route pick up and drop off times. Thanks, Tim

USD 223 Community, As the new school year is closing in, we are still in need of Cooks in Hanover and a Custodian in Linn. We have reviewed our pay and benefits to see how we can make these jobs more competitive. A significant pay increase is being considered in these hard to fill positions. It is imperative that these positions be filled before the upcoming school year. The Cook’s position is required to continue the great food service we currently experience in Hanover. If you or someone you know is interested, please don't hesitate to call me. Thank you for your ongoing support to your community and your school. Tim

Parents, with summer break around the corner, please hve your student take EVERYTHING home with them from their lockers. Please do not leave shoes or exercise gear for summer camps. We do a very extensive deep clean in the summer and we prefer not to handle the students personal effects. Thank you. t
